The chest of drawers has been in our house since the last century 😯 We kept it more for its functionality than for its beauty ☺️ But everything changed when my husband took up the matter. Initially, the chest of drawers looked completely unattractive. Its front was covered in scratches, the varnish had chipped off in places, and the reddish shade seemed outdated and too flashy.
This was a case where the furniture stood more for its functionality than its beauty.
But everything changed when my husband took over. He completely transformed this chest of drawers, turning it into a real work of art.
Instead of the previous bright shade, the chest of drawers acquired a soft and calm color that is somewhere between beige and gray. This warm shade became the basis for the new look.
We decided to leave the gold fittings, but my husband carefully updated them, giving them shine. Now they act as a bright accent that adds elegance and completeness to the chest of drawers.
The top drawers are especially beautiful with the gilded branches that my husband hand painted directly onto the front. These subtle details make the chest of drawers unique.
But the makeover didn’t stop there. The inside of the dresser also deserved some attention, and my husband painted it a rich green that complements the overall style and adds depth.
Now this chest of drawers not only decorates our house, but has also become a real source of pride. My husband did all this with his own hands, putting so much soul into the work that it became doubly pleasant to look at the chest of drawers.
