We had an old bathtub at home. During the renovation, we decided to get rid of the unnecessary junk, but at the last moment we thought: is it possible to make something useful out of it?
Instead of simply throwing away the bathtub, we decided to give it a second life and turn it into a unique piece of furniture.
After much thought, we came up with the idea of making a sofa out of the bathtub. It seemed like an unusual solution, but we were enthusiastic.
The first thing we did was cut the tub in half, carefully sanded and filed the edges to make them smooth and safe.
Then they started painting: they chose black on the outside and bright red on the inside. To create a harmonious image, the legs of the bathtub were also painted red.
When the paint dried, we added soft pillows and a comfortable mattress. The result was a stylish and original sofa that was perfect for a summer house.
Now you can put it in the yard to enjoy the fresh air, and in case of bad weather, simply remove the mattress and pillows to protect them from the rain.
So our old bathtub turned into comfortable and practical furniture, which became not only a decoration of the yard, but also a source of pride.
This project showed us that even the most seemingly unnecessary things can find new life if you show a little imagination and desire to create.
