A Black Dot on a Woman’s Palm Could Be a Warning Sign: Here’s What It Means

😮 If you see a woman with a black dot on her palm, call the police immediately 😱😱 Urgent! 😲 Here’s why ⬇️⬇️

Unfortunately, many women suffer in silence in their homes.

Often victims of domestic violence feel trapped in a terrible prison of circumstances.

Frightened and hesitant to ask for help, they do not know what the future holds, and many of them find ways to justify violence, whether physical, verbal or emotional.

That’s why a few years ago, a viral Facebook campaign emerged to help women suffering from domestic violence seek help by drawing attention to their situation.

Known as the Black Dot Campaign, the initiative aimed to raise awareness for victims of domestic violence by encouraging them to draw a small black dot on their palm as a way to ask for help.

In other words, if you see a woman with a black dot on her palm, it may mean that she is in distress.

Unsurprisingly, the Facebook page became extremely popular. It was so popular that it was shut down due to concerns that it could do more harm than good.

The campaign reached millions of people around the world, and perhaps the “secret” meaning of the black dot on the palm is no longer such a secret.

While the Black Dot Campaign has helped 49 women leave abusive relationships in their short lifespan, critics have argued that if abusers understand what the symbol means, things could get even worse for victims.

“We are concerned that the Black Dot campaign has become very public and well-known, so for some women it may be dangerous to participate.”

The Facebook page has long since disappeared, but the concept lives on online, and there are probably women out there today who draw black dots on their palms, hoping to convey a message to someone who can help them.
