We renovated our small kitchen in just two weeks: here’s what we got

We had a very small kitchen in our house, so when it came to renovating it, we had to work a little to create a cozy and functional kitchen 😢 This is what we got in just two weeks 😍 The result is shown in the link in the comments ⬇️⬇️

Creating a cozy and functional kitchen in a Khrushchev-era building is not an easy task.

A small space requires non-standard solutions to accommodate all the necessary equipment, organize comfortable work areas and at the same time maintain a feeling of lightness.

In this case, the designers found an original approach: the kitchen set is made in a delicate lilac shade, which creates a cozy atmosphere.

The corners of the cabinets are rounded, which not only makes the interior softer, but also allows for more storage space. Yes, it may not be the most fashionable option, but in a small kitchen, functionality comes first.

The work surface runs along the walls, and the tabletop is covered with a pattern reminiscent of small pebbles. This pattern is not just a design whim: it makes small stains and scratches that inevitably appear over time much less noticeable.

One of the non-standard solutions was the location of the sink. Usually it is installed in the corner, but here it is shifted closer to the exit.

This is probably done for convenience – so the cabinets don’t clutter up the space, and access to the sink remains free.

The exact same principle underlies the placement of the stove and hood. Thanks to this, the small kitchen does not seem cramped, but on the contrary, it looks well-thought-out and even visually spacious.

An additional accent was a hanging cabinet with a translucent dark door on the corner. It creates a slight contrast and makes the interior more dynamic.

Thanks to the well-chosen elements, even such a compact kitchen feels complete and comfortable for cooking.
