According to a source who spoke to People, Akala is actually seeing someone else, and his partner is friends with Jolie.

According to the source, Akala’s boyfriend goes to “every event” with the three of them, and they “all work together.”
According to some newspapers, Jolie and Akala are indeed “the real deal.” The Sun, for example, claims that while attending an event in London, the star of The Tourist slipped the rapper into her hotel suit.
“Angelina and Akala have been secretly spending nights together at her London hotel The Corinthia,” a source informed The Sun.
On Wednesday, Angelina arrived to the hotel through the loading bay at approximately 8 p.m., and Akala joined her at approximately 10 p.m.
The two remained inside the hotel together on Wednesday and Thursday night.
“On Friday, only a few hours before the BFI film premiere for her new feature, Akala was surreptitiously driven out of the hotel in one of Angelina’s vehicles.
“They are keeping their relationship a secret by using different cars and hidden entrances, but it is real.”
Jolie reportedly wants to hang out with Ms. Dynamite, a British rapper who is Akala’s sister.
According to a source, “Angelina has been curious about his activism and enjoys his sister’s music, and they were introduced through a charitable endeavor they were both supporting.”
Jolie and Akala were pictured in September 2024 alongside the actress’s 20-year-old son, Pax, whom she shares with her ex-husband Brad Pitt.
