Two-year-old Ava Ann Marie Tabor, a sweet and affectionate child from De Queen, Arkansas, tragically passed away after being brutally beaten by 19-year-old Wesley Davis, who had been entrusted with babysitting her. Ava died on March 4, 2025, at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, leaving her family heartbroken. Her mother, Kylie Perez, expressed her sorrow and anger on Facebook, grieving the loss of her precious daughter at the hands of Davis.
Davis, initially charged with first-degree domestic battery, now faces a first-degree murder charge following Ava’s death. He is currently held on a $1 million bond. In their heartbreak, Ava’s family made the selfless decision to donate her organs to help save others. Ava’s funeral is scheduled for March 13, 2025.
