A young woman inherited a one-bedroom apartment in an old building, but it was in poor condition: dark wallpaper, warped linoleum, and outdated plumbing. Instead of selling it, she decided to renovate the space, preserving its historical charm and family legacy.
Here’s what the apartment looked like before: The total area of the apartment is 37 sq.m., with the main room measuring 19 sq.m. and the kitchen 9 sq.m. The first step was to hire a designer to create a new layout and design for her future home.
A partition was added to separate part of the room, turning it into a cozy bedroom. A sliding door was used to maximize space, and a closet was incorporated into the bedroom. To create a warm and peaceful atmosphere, bright accent wallpaper was chosen for the bedroom area.
The kitchen features a custom-made set in a sleek, minimalist style. The hostess decided to keep the vintage table and chairs in the dining area, adding character to the space. In the bathroom and toilet, new plumbing was installed, but they remain separate for a more functional and comfortable setup.
