When this couple finally found their dream apartment, they were overjoyed.
But the interior looked like it was from the last century: faded wallpaper, heavy curtains and furniture.
But the coziness hidden under the layer of outdated repairs was immediately felt. It was the perfect basis for bold changes!
To transform the space into a stylish and functional home, the couple turned to an experienced designer for help. Together, they came up with a plan for changes that would preserve the successful layout but update every detail beyond recognition.
First of all, the apartment got rid of the dark walls that ate up the space. Instead, light shades appeared, visually expanding the rooms.
A practical bench with storage space has appeared in the hallway – now it’s easy to take off your shoes and conveniently leave your bags here.
To protect the walls from street dirt, porcelain stoneware was used, and the highlight of the space was a stylish mirror in a black frame with backlighting.
Kitchen
Smart planning allowed to avoid complicated redevelopment. By slightly shifting the passage, the designers accommodated a convenient corner set, integrating an unsightly column into it.
The lower facades of the kitchen received a warm wood shade, and the upper ones shine white, emphasizing the purity and lightness of the space.
Next to the kitchen there is a cozy dining area with a TV, where the family now gathers for long home-cooked dinners.
Living room
The parquet flooring added coziness to the interior, and the clever zoning allowed for a harmonious combination of the recreation area and the play area for children. There is a comfortable light sofa here, opposite which there is a multimedia complex.
The partition divides the space so that behind it is hidden a cozy children’s corner, and on the other side is a work area with a desk.
Bedroom
In the center of the room stands a bed with a lift-up base – a practical solution that allows you to store bedding in it.
Bathroom
The bathroom and toilet remained separate – a practical solution for family life. The design was based on simplicity: no frills, only stylish, high-quality materials that will please the eye for many years.
