A poignant example of this is the story of 66-year-old Maria Carmen del Bousada, whose pregnancy with twins shocked her family and ignited public judgment.
Maria Carmen, a retired Spanish woman, had dreamed of becoming a mother her entire life. After her mother passed away, she made the decision to pursue that dream, despite knowing the societal challenges it would bring.
