A US Army veteran has become the world’s most tattooed woman, but she’s not satisfied. Over the last decade, Esperance Fuerzina has tattooed 99.98% of her body. And now, the 36-year-old’s efforts have been rewarded with her inclusion in the Guinness Book of Records.

Esperance received her first tattoo at age 21 and then covered it up with a big phoenix.
“I am delighted to be the owner of the most body modifications and tattooed women. It may appear strange, but I am appreciative and excited about the future. And, of course, I won’t stop there,” the informal woman acknowledges.
She broke the previous Guinness record set by Maria Jose Cristerna, who had 50 alterations. Esperance has nearly twice as many: 89.

It all started with a split tongue, followed by five face implants and piercings in her ears, nipples, labia, and gums. Fuerzina even severed part of her ears. She is now unrecognizable in old photographs.

The woman expressed her love for transformations: “I live a nomadic lifestyle and don’t have much space in my (army) backpack, so this is something I can take with me wherever I go.”
She stated that body art transforms dark times into bright times, reminds her of her experiences while also allowing her to evolve.

It’s no surprise that Esperance attracts attention, even unfavorable attention.
“We have yet to learn to accept people as they are, allow them to look the way they want, and not judge them for the choices they make,” the U.S. citizen stated.
