“Unbelievable! I thought we threw it away a long time ago!” exclaimed Grandma. “It’s an old craft box!”
Grandma explained that in her youth, such boxes were indispensable for women who were interested in sewing.

Each compartment contained spools of thread, needles, buttons, and one small and almost invisible compartment could hide real treasure: precious accessories, small souvenirs, or notes with secrets of the past.
But the most amazing thing was yet to come. Grandma ran her finger along the inside of the lid and suddenly pressed on a barely noticeable depression, and the hidden compartment opened with a light click.
Inside were neatly folded antique lace, spools of silk thread, yellowed letters, and a tiny locket.

After a few days of reflection, we decided that this box deserved a second chance. Instead of hiding it again, we came up with a new purpose for it.
After careful restoration and polishing, the box acquired a new look. Instead of spools and needles, its compartments became the perfect place to store jewelry: rings, earrings, bracelets – everything found its place here.
