Just a few years ago, this house would have evoked nothing but sadness: an old, dilapidated hut with a sagging roof and walls darkened by time.
It seemed that it would not last long and would soon disappear from the face of the earth. The situation inside was even worse: damp, dust, and sunken floors.
But the situation changed in 2017. That’s when the house caught the attention of a married couple of entrepreneurs who are inspired by village architecture.
Thanks to their efforts, the house was transformed beyond recognition.
On the outside, there is a neat, harmonious facade, carefully restored window frames, a new roof. The color of the walls blends with the greenery of the garden.
The interior is decorated with exquisite taste: there is restored brickwork, original furniture, a china cabinet that replaced modern furniture.
The kitchen is connected to the living room, and in the corner there is a place where you want to settle down with a cup of coffee and a book. Whitewashed walls, wooden doors, exposed wiring – all together create an atmosphere close to the authentic, but at the same time very comfortable.
Five bedrooms, each with its own character. One has an oriental rug at the head of the bed.
The veranda, transformed into a spacious living-dining room with many windows, deserves special attention. Light, air, wood – everything works to create a feeling of freedom and peace.
The kitchen area next door is modest but functional. Even the sink and kettle look appropriate here, rather than like obligatory household items.
There are now two bathrooms in the house. Once there wasn’t even water here – everything was outside. And now – cleanliness, warmth, nice details.
