Beyond her legendary status in Hollywood, Jane Seymour has also carved out a rich life as an author and, most importantly, as a devoted mother.
Among her greatest roles? Raising four children — including her twin sons, John Stacy and Kristopher Steven, now 27 — an experience filled with both trials and triumphs. Seymour had her twins with filmmaker James Keach, while her two older children, Katherine (41) and Sean (38), are from her previous marriage to David Flynn.
The Path to Motherhood Wasn’t Easy
Seymour’s path to becoming a mother again at 44 was far from smooth. After enduring two heartbreaking miscarriages through in-vitro fertilization, she and Keach nearly gave up hope. But the third time proved miraculous — though not without complications.
Diagnosed with pre-eclampsia, Seymour had to undergo an emergency C-section six weeks early. Both she and the babies were in grave danger. “I nearly died having them, and the babies nearly died,” she once revealed.
Despite the harrowing experience, Seymour never looked back. “I’m very glad I had them,” she said, recalling the fragile early days when her sons had to be closely monitored — even returning to the hospital when Johnny turned blue twice at home.

A Hands-On Mother in Hollywood
Despite her demanding career, Seymour made parenting her priority. She often brought the twins with her to film sets, ensuring she could remain an ever-present force in their lives.
As they grew, the bond between the twins deepened — sharing a crib, and later a bed, always inseparable.

Fans Swoon Over Her Grown Sons
Recently, Seymour posted a touching photo with her grown sons — now tall, strikingly handsome men towering over her. Fans couldn’t get enough:
“Love this, Jane. The boys are so handsome, and you look beautiful,” one follower wrote.
Others chimed in with admiration: “Two handsome men! And a beautiful mother!” and “They look just like their dad.”
Seymour’s story of motherhood, perseverance, and love continues to inspire. Her journey — from the brink of loss to celebrating life with her adult sons — is a powerful reminder of the strength and beauty of a mother’s devotion.
