A boy who was once the world’s heaviest child proves that there is no goal that cannot be reached.

Arya Permana, an Indonesian boy who weighed 421 pounds (191 kilograms), had to take showers outside in a specially designed pool. Although he has been dubbed the “world’s fattest kid,” he demonstrates that hard effort and goal-setting always pay off. Let us learn more about Arya’s story.

The boy was dubbed “the world’s fattest child.”

Arya Permana is 15 years old and used to eat five meals a day: rice, fish, meat, vegetable soup, and a traditional soy patty. It was enough to feed two adults, on average. The tiny kid had to quit going to school since he would quickly run out of breath while walking. Arya had been wearing nothing but a sarong for quite some time because his parents could no longer locate clothes that fit him.

But eventually, he decided to make a change.

Arya Permana transformed into a considerably thinner version of himself from a youngster weighing 421 lb (191 kg). The Indonesian student has shed a huge amount of weight, weighing only 183 pounds (83 kilograms), and he has even inspired others to embrace healthier lifestyles. Ade Rai, his trainer, helped him learn about physical activity and a balanced diet.

Arya is now a symbol of hope.

According to his trainer, Arya weighed 187 pounds (85 kilograms) at first before his appetite increased dramatically. He is now dropping weight while keeping his spirit up. Especially among adults, this is a rare trait. People now say things like, “Even Arya can lose weight, so why can’t I?” The child combines a rigorous workout regimen with a healthy diet and medical treatment. Aria’s father, Ade Somantri, said that his son’s weight loss was achieved through medical treatment, a strict workout routine, and a diet.

Arya could only stand for a few minutes at a time. He can now play football and other sports with his friends and walk to school after having a big procedure to lower the amount of food he consumes. And we are very delighted for him!
