Jennifer has two sisters, Melissa and Suzanne, of whom she is the middle one. The photographs capture various moments of their childhood, from infancy to adolescence. The sisters grew up in a family with a chemist father and an English teacher mother in West Virginia.
The sisters grew up in a strict family, where education and discipline were encouraged. They attended the Methodist church, and things like makeup, hair dyeing and ear piercing were strictly forbidden.
