Natalia Sakado was a very ordinary St. Petersburg girl. Work, friends, the gray everyday life of the Northern capital. Her life was going along the beaten track until one chance meeting turned everything 180 degrees.
It happened in 2008. Natalia met a group of students from Ghana who were studying at a medical university. In their noisy, cheerful company, she felt a bit of an outsider, but was charmed by their warmth and sincerity. And then he appeared – Frank.
Frank didn’t stand out at first. A bit silent, calm, with a reserved smile. Natalia even tried to stay away from him.

For almost half a year they communicated only as acquaintances. And then one day, without much prelude, Frank looked into her eyes and asked:
– Let’s date, to get to know each other better and get married?
Natalia was stunned by this directness. But something in his voice and look was so reliable and sincere that she said “yes”.
On May 29, 2011, they got married in St. Petersburg. A month later, they got married in church, despite resistance from both sides. The parents did not understand this union: the difference in cultures, religions, skin color… But love turned out to be stronger.

Today, Natalia and Frank live a completely different life. They have four wonderful children: Martin, David and twins Leon and Lena. All have inherited their father – chocolate skin, bright smile, lively temperament.
The family recently moved into their own home, built right in the middle of the African savannah. Where sunsets blaze over the horizon, and at night crickets sing and lions roar.
