The woman’s daughter admitted that she was ashamed to even go to the supermarket with her mother. She looked so sloppy. The last time Katie changed her hair was in 1986. The only thing she did was bleach her hair with the cheapest dye.
The woman’s hair was brittle and the ends split. Katie’s bangs looked terrible. The heroine of the program said that many friends advised her to change her appearance. However, Katie was very afraid of change.
The housewife admitted that she had never seen her hair short or any other way. The American thought she would miss it.
Katie’s clothes also needed a change. Her wardrobe consisted mainly of “loungewear” such as leggings, one-shoulder sweaters and pajamas. The daughter believed that her mother was stuck in an “eighties” look.
The American woman said she simply did not want to spend money on clothes for herself. However, the hairdresser chose a shoulder-length haircut for her, as well as a natural warm shade of color.
Natural strands added volume to the hairstyle. The hairdresser transformed the bangs by simply stretching them.
