After finding an old metal cart in disrepair, I immediately decided to turn it into an industrial coffee bar.
The first step was to thoroughly clean 🧼 the entire structure from dust 🪣, dirt 🏚️ and rust ⚙️ that had accumulated over time.
I took apart the most damaged parts 🔩 to determine what could be saved and what needed to be replaced.
Then I used a wire brush and sandpaper 🪵 to sand the surface and remove any remaining rust.
To protect the metal and extend its service life, an anti-corrosion compound was applied 🛡️.
To give it a modern look, I chose a rich green 🎨 which adds a vintage and sophisticated touch.
I carefully applied several coats of paint to ensure an even and durable finish.
The original table top was too worn out, so I replaced it with solid wood 🌳.
After I cut it to size, sanded it and treated it with a dark stain, it acquired a distinctive look and protection from moisture.
The cart’s wheels have been restored to maintain its mobility 🔄 and make it easier to move.
I also reinforced the structure to ensure it was stable and strong.
In the final stage, I added a handle and optimized the layout of the compartments 📦 to conveniently accommodate cups, accessories and coffee machines ☕.
Within a week, the old rusty cart had turned into a functional and stylish coffee bar ✨, which became the centerpiece of my interior 🏡.
This project proves that with a little creativity 🎭 and effort 💪 you can give a second life to forgotten things, turning them into unique and cozy interior items. ♻️🔥
