My mom wanted to get rid of her old chair, but I decided to restore it and turn it into something completely new!
This proves that even old items can become amazing with a little effort!
Furniture of the last century was created to last for many years.
Many people still keep items from the 70s and 80s, including Soviet-era chairs – light, durable and comfortable.
While the frame remains strong, the upholstery will fade and wear over time.
We decided to restore my mother-in-law’s second chair so that she could enjoy not only comfort but also stylish design.
Taking the chair apart wasn’t easy, but we replaced the old foam with new and chose a bright fabric for the upholstery.
The armrests were painted white to create contrast. The final stage was a quick installation, after which the chair looked like new again.
This proves that even small efforts can give a second life to old and seemingly unnecessary things. 🪑✨
We put our heart and soul into every step of the process. 🌟
During the restoration process, we not only improved the appearance of the chair, but also added new functionality to it. 🔧🛋
Every step towards its transformation was dictated by the desire to breathe new life into it, and the result exceeded all expectations! 🎨💯
Today, both chairs occupy a place of honor in her living room – no longer as relics of the past, but as modern and practical interior elements.
Restoring old furniture is not only decoration, but also a way to fill memories with new meaning.
