Teachers noticed that a 9-year-old schoolboy was digging in the ground every day and hiding something in a hole: everyone was horrified to find out what he was hiding underground 😱😱

For several days, teachers at School No. 17 had been watching with surprise the strange behavior of one of their students, nine-year-old Lyosha. Every day after classes, he went to the backyard of the school, where almost no one goes.

There, in the same place, Lesha would kneel down and start digging the ground – with his bare hands, not paying attention to the dirt under his nails, to the scratches. He would dig for about 10 minutes, then carefully put something in the hole, bury it and smooth the ground, as if nothing had happened. And he would leave.

At first, the teachers decided that the boy was just playing. Children can be strange, especially at that age. But Lyosha did it with frightening precision – every day, at the same time, in the same place, with the same movements. There was no play in it.

One day, the primary school teacher couldn’t stand it any longer. After the bell rang, she quietly followed Lyosha, hiding behind the trees. As usual, he went to the backyard, squatted down, dug up a small mound, pulled a plastic bag out of his backpack and put it in the hole. Then he buried it and smoothed it out.

The teacher couldn’t help herself. She came out of hiding and called his name:

– Lesha… What are you doing here?

The boy shuddered. At first he was silent, looking at her with fear, as if he had been caught in the act of committing a crime. And then, looking down, he quietly said…. The teacher was horrified by what she heard 😱😱

– I’m hiding…

– What are you hiding?

He paused, then pointed to the ground:

— Textbooks… I bring them every day and bury them. So that dad won’t find them.

The teacher squatted down next to him. He did not look her in the eye.

– Why don’t you want dad to find them?

– He… he’s angry when he drinks. Once he tore everything up – textbooks and notebooks. He told me not to study, but to wash floors and cook food. And I… I want to study. I love school. But if he tears everything up again, I won’t be able to anymore.

The teacher caught her breath. The boy sat in front of her, skinny, with skinny hands, and said this as casually as if he were telling her that it had rained yesterday.

She didn’t know what to say for a long time. She simply hugged Lesha and promised that now he would no longer be alone.
