The Stringer family had long dreamed of having a second child. Their eldest daughter, Aria, had already started school, and the parents increasingly found themselves thinking that the house had become too quiet and empty. In the spring of 2021, Jaylynn learned the joyful news of her pregnancy, and the family eagerly awaited the addition.

The pregnancy was proceeding relatively calmly, but at 20 weeks, an ultrasound examination showed unexpected results. The future child was found to have serious developmental peculiarities: the girl’s legs were not fully formed, and she also had problems with her ears.

The couple faced a difficult choice: to terminate the pregnancy or to decide that their second daughter would be born different from everyone else. The couple had no doubts – they were ready to give the baby life.

In December 2021, Amaya was born. She had no legs and some hearing impairments. Her older sister Aria became her assistant and support from the first days, and her parents rebuilt their entire life so that the baby would be as comfortable and convenient as possible to grow.

Over time, friends and acquaintances began to ask more and more often how Amaya was developing, and Jaylynn and Aria decided to start a page on social networks, where they began to share photos and stories from the girl’s life. By the fall of 2022, the little girl already had more than 200 thousand subscribers, and today their number has exceeded 360 thousand.

Now the girl is almost three years old. She is growing up cheerful, active and always smiling in photos. The Stringer family travels a lot, shares new stories and inspires thousands of people around the world.

And all this became possible because one day her mom and dad made the only right choice – they gave her life.
