Trump slams TIME magazine for ‘worst of all time’ picture of him

President Donald Trump is once again in the spotlight—this time not just for his diplomatic success, but for his fiery reaction to a TIME Magazine cover he says did him wrong.

After earning widespread praise for helping broker a historic peace deal between Israel and Hamas, Trump’s image appeared on TIME’s latest issue under the headline “His Triumph.” The feature lauded his role in achieving the Gaza ceasefire and his negotiations involving Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey. But Trump was far from pleased with the magazine’s chosen photo.

Posting on Truth Social, the 79-year-old wrote: “TIME Magazine wrote a relatively good story about me, but the picture may be the Worst of All Time. They made my hair disappear, then added something floating on my head that looked like a tiny crown—really weird!”

The controversial photo, shot from a low angle against a bright sky, flattened Trump’s famously voluminous hair—a feature that has long drawn public fascination. He added, “I never liked photos taken from below, but this one is truly awful. What are they thinking?”

Despite the critique, Trump praised the article’s content, which detailed the behind-the-scenes diplomacy led by Trump, Jared Kushner, and envoy Steve Witkoff. Their efforts reportedly secured the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners and a truce supported by more than 20 world leaders.

Speaking at a summit in Egypt, Trump declared, “I’m good at solving wars. I’m good at making peace,” reinforcing the deal as one of his defining achievements of his second term.

TIME’s cover depicted Trump in a navy suit and red tie, presenting the peace deal as a pivotal moment for his presidency and global diplomacy. Yet, the uproar over the photo shows that Trump’s decades-long sensitivity about his hair remains unchanged.

For years, speculation has swirled about whether Trump underwent cosmetic procedures or hair restoration surgeries. Surgeon Gary Linkov has estimated that Trump may have had multiple hair-related operations, though Trump insists otherwise: “It’s my hair. It’s all mine. I swear.”

This isn’t the first time Trump has clashed with TIME. Although he’s been featured on its cover numerous times and was twice named Person of the Year, he’s also accused the magazine of bias—criticizing them for overlooking him in 2015 and calling their “100 Most Influential People” list a “total joke.”

Whether you love him or not, Trump’s latest dispute proves one thing hasn’t changed: when it comes to headlines—or hairstyles—he never stays out of the conversation for long.
