Amanda Bynes flaunted her slimmer figure in a casual California look while spotted in Los Angeles this week. The 39-year-old former child star, who is currently exploring a music career, revealed in December that she had lost 28 pounds with the help of Ozempic.

Over the past few years, Bynes has gradually updated her appearance, including getting lip fillers and adding new tattoos to her hands. On Monday, she wore a white button-up crop top that highlighted her toned midriff, paired with $98 printed cotton fleece sweats from Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS brand, originally known for shapewear.

Although she recently showcased purple eyebrows on Instagram, she returned to her natural black brows for this outing. She styled her platinum blonde hair in a tight bun and accessorized with a large black leather handbag and oversized sunglasses.
Last month, Bynes debuted a new tattoo, “Trap Star,” on her left hand at Atomic Tattoo & Body Piercing in Hollywood. In December, she shared on social media that she had dropped from 180 pounds to 152 pounds using Ozempic, calling the progress “really inspiring” despite still feeling she looked big.
She first announced her plan to try Ozempic in June, amid the growing trend of weight-loss injectables in Hollywood, aiming to reach around 130 pounds for better appearance in paparazzi photos. By November, she reported losing 20 pounds, and via Instagram Stories, she explained she had fluctuated up to 180 pounds before dropping to 163 with the injections.

Bynes, who is now dating Zachary, said the treatment was “working” and that she wanted to lose more weight to feel “skinny and cute.” She previously revealed that depression had caused a 20-pound weight gain and shared that her ultimate goal was to return to her teenage weight of 110 pounds.
In addition to weight changes, Bynes had lip fillers in August 2024 and removed excess eyelid skin in 2023 through blepharoplasty, which she described as “one of the best things” for her self-confidence. She also commemorated a decade-long friendship with a Roman numeral X tattoo on her finger, matching her friend Dylan’s ink.
