’60s sex symbol Joey Heatherton was recently spotted running errands in Los Angeles — and she still looked effortlessly glamorous. The Hollywood legend was seen stopping by a grocery store over the weekend, casually checking items off her list while dressed in a comfy blue sweatshirt and matching trousers. Even during the low-key outing, she appeared camera-ready, applying a fresh swipe of lip gloss while seated in her car, her signature long blonde hair clipped neatly back from her face. She also kept things eco-friendly, carrying a reusable bag for her shopping trip.

At the height of her fame, Heatherton was far more than just a pretty face. A singer, dancer, and actress, she became a household name through performances on Bob Hope’s USO tours, as well as appearances on both the big and small screens. In 1964, she earned a Golden Globe nomination for New Star of the Year – Actress for her role in Twilight of Horror, starring alongside Richard Chamberlain. Her film credits include My Blood Runs Cold (1965) and The Happy Hooker Goes to Washington (1977), and she later appeared in 1990’s Cry-Baby with Johnny Depp.

Beyond film, Heatherton was a frequent guest on popular talk shows like The Tonight Show and The Dean Martin Show. She also released music, including her 1972 record The Joey Heatherton Album, and appeared in commercials for brands like Serta Mattresses and RC Cola. The daughter of Broadway star and TV personality Ray Heatherton, Joey began performing at a young age and even teamed up with her father for the 1975 musical variety series Joey & Dad.

Today, she seems to have embraced a quieter life away from the spotlight — but as her recent outing proves, the timeless glamour that made her a star in the ’60s hasn’t faded one bit.
