Priscilla Presley reveals what she and Elvis did ‘every night’ instead of having s*x during teen romance

Priscilla Presley has opened up about her early relationship with Elvis Presley, sharing that their nights together were spent watching movies rather than being intimate.

Elvis first met Priscilla at a party in West Germany in 1959 while he was serving in the U.S. Army. He was 24 at the time, and she was just 14. They continued seeing each other until he left Germany, later rekindling the romance three years afterward when he flew her to Los Angeles and took her to Las Vegas.

Over the years, Priscilla has consistently said they did not have sex before their 1967 wedding in Las Vegas, which took place just weeks before her 22nd birthday. Speaking at the 2026 Old Bags Luncheon at The Breakers in Palm Beach, the 80-year-old recalled that their evenings were filled with films.

“We would have dinner around 10 p.m., and sometimes watch one, two, three, even four movies all night,” she said. Movie theaters would call the couple directly so they could request specific titles and view them before general release. She admitted that staying up so late likely made her “always late for school.”

Their courtship, however, was not without drama. During their relationship, Elvis had an affair with his Viva Las Vegas co-star Ann-Margret. In her memoir Elvis and Me, Priscilla wrote that upon discovering the infidelity, she hurled a flower vase across the room in anger.

Despite the turbulence, the pair married in an intimate ceremony at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas on May 1, 1967. Nine months later, they welcomed their only child, Lisa Marie Presley, who died in 2023 at age 54 due to complications from a prior weight-loss surgery. Priscilla later made the difficult decision to remove her daughter from life support after she suffered cardiac arrest.

Elvis and Priscilla’s marriage faced challenges, including mutual affairs, and they separated in 1972 before finalizing their divorce in 1973. Elvis died in 1977 at age 42 after being found unresponsive at his Memphis home.

Following his death, Priscilla became the steward of his legacy, transforming Graceland into a major tourist destination. Though she never remarried, she had relationships with several high-profile figures in the years that followed.
