Joseph Gordon-Levitt, once one of Hollywood’s hottest young actors, has largely stepped out of the blockbuster spotlight, leaving fans wondering what the 44-year-old has been doing over the past decade.

The turning point came in 2010 with the death of his older brother, Dan, who co-founded HitRecord with Joseph.
