The video, shared on TikTok and later obtained by TMZ, appears to capture the tense moments leading up to the altercation. Taylor is seen angrily approaching Ritchson, 43, and his two young children as they rode motorcycles down a suburban street. He then leaves his property, walks into the road, and positions himself in front of the actor’s green Kawasaki, seemingly blocking his path.
Ritchson responds by laying down his bike and confronting Taylor. In the clip, Taylor criticizes the actor for riding “like a lunatic” and says he’s worried about neighborhood children. Ritchson fires back, calling him out and asking whether he had been drinking. The exchange escalates, with Ritchson allegedly saying he should have run Taylor over after the neighbor stepped into the street.
After picking up his motorcycle and revving the engine repeatedly, Taylor appears to shove both the actor and the bike twice. Ritchson then seems to strike Taylor several times, with the footage showing punches being thrown before he tells him to stay down. Photos later obtained by TMZ show Taylor with visible bruises and cuts following the incident.

Police in Brentwood, Tennessee, confirmed an active investigation, noting that no arrests have been made and a report will be released once inquiries conclude. Earlier footage filmed from a nearby home also appeared to show Ritchson throwing punches while two children — believed to be his sons — watched nearby.
Taylor claimed the dispute began the day before, alleging that Ritchson had been speeding through the quiet neighborhood and revving his engine. According to Taylor, he confronted the actor again the following day, which is when the situation escalated. He alleged Ritchson punched him multiple times, including in the back of the head, and attempted to run him off afterward.

The video ends with Ritchson picking up his helmet and bike, briefly losing control as it veers onto a lawn, before getting back on and riding away with the two youngsters.

Ritchson, who shares three sons with wife Catherine, is best known for Reacher and has also appeared in Smallville, Titans, Fast X, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He has previously spoken publicly about his mental health, revealing in 2024 that he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder after a 2019 suicide attempt, and later sought therapy that he said helped reshape his outlook on life.
