The 53-year-old actress frequently features her mom on social media, including installments of her Pretend Cooking Show, and says Patricia is thoroughly enjoying the attention.
“She’s so funny. She loves it. She loves being recognized. She loves when people say hi to her,” Garner told People, adding that her mom also has strong opinions about what they should do on camera.
Garner — who shares three children with ex-husband Ben Affleck — joked that Patricia insists her episodes are the most successful.

“She likes to tell me that her episodes perform the best,” Garner said, adding she probably isn’t wrong because her mom has “been right about everything” her entire life.
She pointed to a few standout moments, including a chaotic bagel-making video and another where she nearly set the kitchen on fire while preparing beef bourguignon.
Garner added she always enjoys filming with her mom, calling her adorable and saying she’s a great “scene partner.”
Earlier this year, the actress also took Patricia on a special trip to Canada to see the Northern Lights, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
Garner shared footage from their New Year adventure to Yellowknife, explaining that her mom had insisted she “needed” to see the Aurora Borealis.
The video showed the pair bundled in heavy winter coats as they watched the sky light up, with Garner thanking her mom for the memorable start to 2026.
The mother-daughter duo also appeared together on the Today show in June 2024, where they spoke about the death of Garner’s father, William Garner.
During the interview, Patricia reflected on becoming a widow after nearly six decades of marriage, saying she eventually realized she would be okay.

Garner praised her mother’s strength and kindness, noting that her late father would have loved seeing how much people adore her.
She added that Patricia has always been compassionate and quietly supportive, describing her as someone who instinctively understands what others need.
