Forty years after Crocodile Dundee made her an international star, many fans still wonder what became of actress Linda Kozlowski — and why she chose to walk away from Hollywood just as her career was taking off.
Now 68, Linda was only 27 when she landed the role of journalist Sue Charlton, the sharp reporter sent to interview rugged adventurer Mick Dundee before falling for him. Acting opposite Paul Hogan, who played the iconic crocodile hunter, Linda became a household name and went on to appear in all three films of the franchise.

Their on-screen romance soon became real life. Linda and Paul married in 1990 in Byron Bay, Australia, and later welcomed a son, Chance. But after more than two decades together, the pair divorced in 2014.
Although Crocodile Dundee opened many doors, Linda later admitted she grew frustrated with the types of roles she was offered afterward. She said many scripts cast her as little more than the love interest to comedic male leads, and she became disillusioned with low-quality productions that lacked passion or care. Eventually, she decided acting no longer brought her joy and stepped away from the industry in 2001.

After leaving Hollywood, Linda began a very different chapter. She found love again with Moroccan tour guide and location scout Moulay Hafid Baba, whom she met through friends during a trip to Marrakech. The couple married in 2017 after beginning their relationship in 2014.

Together, they launched a Marrakech-based travel and scouting company called Dream My Destiny, helping visitors explore Morocco while also working with film productions. Linda now divides her time between Los Angeles and Marrakech, embracing a life far removed from Hollywood fame.
Looking back, Linda has said she spent many years living in the shadow of her famous former husband, but now feels fulfilled building something of her own. Rather than chasing the spotlight, she found happiness through independence, travel, and a fresh start.
