The pair first crossed paths in 1973 at a party hosted at Nicholson’s Los Angeles home. Their relationship became one of Hollywood’s most famous on-again, off-again romances, filled with passion, heartbreak, and reconciliations over the course of 17 years.
But their relationship ultimately unraveled in 1990 after Nicholson confessed that actress Rebecca Broussard was pregnant with his child — a revelation Huston reportedly could not forgive.
Sources close to the actor claim Nicholson still reflects on the breakup with sadness and remorse, often admitting he mishandled the relationship and deeply regrets hurting her.
