Jennifer Lopez and her Office Romance co-star Brett Goldstein sparked fresh speculation about their chemistry after sharing several playful moments together at Netflix’s Upfront event on Wednesday.
Lopez, 56, appeared smitten as she laughed and exchanged flirtatious glances with the 45-year-old Ted Lasso actor while posing on the red carpet. The singer-actress stunned in a daring plunging gown following reports that the pair became especially close while filming their upcoming romantic comedy.

Goldstein, who reportedly split from actress Beth Rylance in 2022, has been surrounded by rumors of an offscreen connection with Lopez ever since production began. Insiders previously claimed the two shared undeniable chemistry behind the scenes, describing their bond as “electric” and saying they were constantly laughing, joking and spending time together on set.
According to sources, cast and crew members noticed how naturally affectionate the pair were during filming and at the movie’s wrap party, where they were reportedly inseparable throughout the evening. Some insiders even joked that Goldstein was a British version of Lopez’s ex-husband Ben Affleck, adding that the actress seemed drawn to his charm and supportive personality.

The duo were also spotted attending the Broadway production Oh, Mary! together in 2024 to support co-star Betty Gilpin.
Lopez later fueled speculation herself during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where she named Goldstein the best onscreen kisser she has ever worked with.

Their upcoming film, Office Romance, premieres on Netflix on June 5. The comedy follows powerful CEO Jackie Cruz, played by Lopez, who unexpectedly falls for a new employee named Daniel Blanchflower, portrayed by Goldstein.
Lopez described the movie as a classic romance infused with modern, edgier humor, saying she immediately wanted to be part of the project despite an already packed schedule. She also praised Goldstein’s performance, calling him naturally funny, grounded and effortlessly charming.

Goldstein revealed that he and co-writer Joe Kelly actually developed the screenplay specifically with Lopez in mind, believing she was the ultimate romantic comedy star.
Director Ol Parker also teased that the film pushes Jennifer Lopez into bolder comedic territory than audiences may expect, adding that the actress fully embraced the playful tone of the project.
