Nicolas Cage, 62, rocks fresh dye job as he clings to much-younger wife Riko Shibata, 31, on red carpet at Spider-Noir premiere

Nicolas Cage stepped onto the red carpet in New York on Wednesday night alongside his wife, Riko Shibata, for the premiere of Spider-Noir.

The 62-year-old Oscar winner appeared affectionate with Shibata, 31, as the couple posed closely together and held hands throughout the event. Cage wore a tailored dark suit paired with a crisp white shirt and patterned navy tie. The actor also debuted a noticeably darker hairstyle, with his freshly dyed hair slicked neatly back, while opting for a clean-shaven look.

Shibata chose a sophisticated black ensemble featuring a flowing pleated skirt and fitted top layered over a white blouse with delicate black lace sleeves. Her sleek waist-length hair was styled straight with soft bangs framing her face. She completed the look with dramatic red-toned eye makeup, a matching matte lip color, and a colorful manicure featuring blue, green, and cream shades.

Cage first met Shibata during a trip to Japan in 2020, and the pair tied the knot the following year in a private ceremony at the Wynn Las Vegas. The couple share a three-year-old daughter named August.

The actor has been married several times before, including relationships with Patricia Arquette, Lisa Marie Presley, Alice Kim, and Erika Koike. He is also father to sons Weston and Kal-El from previous relationships.

Spider-Noir marks Cage’s first leading role in a television series. Inspired by the Marvel Comics character, the show takes place in an alternate version of 1930s New York. Cage stars as Ben Reilly, an aging private investigator known as The Spider — a darker, more battle-worn take on Spider-Man Noir. Fans may remember he previously voiced a version of the character in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
