These wooden chairs stood in our parents’ house for many years 😯 They looked completely unremarkable, and in some places even shabby, but they were made well and retained their strength ☺️ My brother and I decided to repair them ourselves, and this is what we got 👇👇

My parents had old wooden chairs in their house – four of them, all brown, covered with worn varnish and time.
They looked quite unremarkable, and even shabby in places, but they were well made and retained their strength. One day, my brother and I decided that it was worth giving these chairs a new life.
The work began with stripping. We removed the old varnish, sanded the wood, and removed small cracks and chips. Seeing how the clean surface of the wood began to shine again, inspiration came naturally.

We decided that each chair should be unique and reflect its own story.
The first chair turned a soft purple. This shade immediately made it look soft and cozy, as if inviting you to sit down and dream a little.
The other two chairs were given a green color. But it wasn’t just a solid color: we painted bright parrots among the foliage on the seats. They seemed to add life and a tropical feel to our project.

The fourth chair was the boldest. We painted it bright yellow and added blue patterns to the back and legs, reminiscent of Moroccan tiles.
When we finished, the result exceeded all expectations. The chairs came to life, each of them became an independent work of art. We placed them in different rooms of the house so that they would please the eye not only with their appearance, but also with their history.

Now these chairs are not just furniture, but a symbol of the fact that even old things can be given a new life if you invest a little time, effort and creativity.
