All the children of the world and even adults fell in love with the man in the photo when he starred in a very popular movie 😯 He was only 12 years old then 🥰 Unfortunately, he left the world of cinema and over the years he changed a lot, grew old 😢 And have you guessed who he is, if not, here is the answer ⬇️

The actor, best known for his role as Charlie Bucket in the classic 1971 film, celebrates his 67th birthday this year.
More than fifty years have passed since the film’s premiere, and during this time his life has changed.
Peter Ostrum was in the right place at the right time when he landed the role of Charlie Bucket. His love for the theater was sparked by a school reunion that featured scenes from Winnie the Pooh.

His big break came in sixth grade when a casting director visited the theater and invited him to audition for Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.
Despite the film’s great popularity, Ostrum did not continue his acting career.
Although the role brought him fame, he turned down an offer of a three-film contract following the film’s success.

Instead, he chose a different path, eventually settling in the small town of Loville. Ostrum chose a quiet life away from Hollywood: He married, had children, and rarely mentioned his role in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.
Although he usually kept his Hollywood past a secret, he shared his story with the elementary students at Lovilla Academy every year.
Children who learned about their famous compatriot rented the film on tape from the local video store so often that it wore out twice.

After his film career ended, he became a veterinarian, a passion he had since the age of 13, when he worked at a stable and admired the work of a local vet. Today, he continues to mentor new graduates and participate in research.
