This cave and the whole lost world inside it were discovered in 1991 by a Vietnamese farmer. The cave is considered the largest in the world, and no wonder, its height is as high as a 40-story skyscraper. It has its own flora and fauna, its own rivers, its own jungle.

This natural wonder is located in Vietnam’s Phon Nha-Ke Bang National Park, 200 miles south of Hanoi. The cave is called Son Doong-grottan, which means mountain river cave. Scientists say it is about five million years old.

Nowadays, there are organized tourist trips to the cave. For example, a 7-day tour costs $2,300. Let’s take a virtual tour and see this amazing underground world.

The total length of the cave is 87 kilometers.

In the cave you can find rare pearls that have been formed over many, many hundreds of years.
