Found small black dots in the kitchen

Found small black dots in your kitchen? Find out what it means! 😱

One woman has taken to Facebook for advice after discovering strange black marks along skirting boards, on wallpaper and even on the floor in her home.

💬 “Does anyone know what this is?” she wrote. “These have literally just appeared in the last week! It’s not paint, but it looks like splatter.”

The responses from users were unanimous : it was spider droppings .

Spider droppings: fact or myth?

Experts confirm that spiders do indeed “poop” , but their excrement is not solid , but rather resembles liquid dark spots, similar to ink .

Typically, such marks are left under cobwebs , in corners or on walls. They are about the size of a pinhead and can range in color from black and gray to brown and white .

Is spider droppings dangerous?

🔹 Spider droppings have not been proven to transmit infections , but caution is advised .
🔹 Always wash your hands after contact with stains .
🔹 Fresh stains are easy to remove , but dried stains may leave yellow marks .

How to get rid of spiders and their traces?

✅ Regularly remove cobwebs from corners.
✅ Keep clean , especially in secluded places.
✅ Use special spider remedies .
✅ If the problem is serious, contact a pest control service .
