Many people don’t even know what these 3 compartments in a washing machine are actually for 🤔😲 If you look closely at the compartments in the washing machine, you can see that they are labeled with different symbols 😯 But what do they mean? I’ll tell you the details at the link in the comments ⬇️⬇️

If you look closely at the compartments in the washing machine, you will notice that they are labeled with different symbols. Most often, there are numbers on the outer compartments, and in the center you can see a snowflake, star or flower icon.
However, this order may vary in different models of washing machines.
For example, in my car the side compartments are marked with Roman numerals, and the middle one is marked with a snowflake. But there are options with Arabic numerals or letter designations.

What are these compartments for?
🔹 The compartment with the Roman numeral I, Arabic 1 or the letter “A” is intended for powder used in the pre-wash mode.
However, if the selected program does not include soaking, there is no need to fill this compartment.
🔹 The compartment with the Roman numeral II, Arabic 2 or the letter “B” is the main compartment for detergents that work during the main stage of washing.

This is where the powder or liquid gel goes if you don’t add it directly to the drum.
🔹The middle compartment, marked with a snowflake, star or flower, is for fabric softener. It is needed to make the laundry softer and give it a pleasant aroma.
However, its use is at your discretion – if you do not want to add conditioner, you can simply leave this compartment empty.

Thus, these compartments help the washing machine to automatically dose detergents at different stages of washing without mixing them. Thanks to this, things are cleaned more effectively, and you do not need to monitor the process manually.
