This chair has stood in our home for many years. It has witnessed holidays, quiet family evenings, and endless conversations in the kitchen.
But time took its toll – the brown covering had faded, and the legs creaked with every movement. There was a huge hole in the center of the chair. It was in terrible condition, but I just couldn’t bring myself to throw it away.

I decided to give it a second life. The work took several days: first, I had to remove the old paint and sand the surface, then strengthen the loose parts. The hole remained in the center of the chair.

Once the chair was sturdy and smooth, I tackled the most enjoyable part – painting it. The white color transformed it, making it fresh and elegant. But something was still missing… So, I added some small rose stickers.

I prepared printouts, carefully trimmed the edges so they wouldn’t be visible when applied, and finally coated everything with a layer of varnish.
The result is a fresher, more vintage chair for my home.

Now, this chair is the centerpiece of the room. It looks gentle and cozy, and most importantly, it carries the story of our home, now renewed and beautiful.
