This old table, although it looked quite decent from the outside, stood in the yard for many years and served more as a garden decoration than as functional furniture.
Time and weather conditions have left their mark on it: the wood has darkened, cracked in places, and the varnish has worn off.
Realizing that even the strongest types of wood wear out over time, I decided to give the table a second life.
I decided not to change the design – it remained strong, but the surface required attention.
First, I carefully sanded the table, removing traces of old varnish and small irregularities. Then I covered it with a new layer of varnish to protect it from moisture and temperature changes.
The choice of color fell on white – it adds freshness and fits harmoniously into the garden atmosphere. I applied the paint in two layers to achieve an even coating and create the effect of updated furniture.
Now this table takes pride of place in the garden, becoming a cozy corner for evening gatherings and picnics with friends. Thanks to its new look, it not only retained its purpose, but also became a real decoration of our yard.
