A man was stunned to find his dog locked in the basement of his newly purchased home.
It turned out that the squatter who was living in the house illegally left behind not only personal belongings, but also a helpless animal.
The new owner of the house immediately contacted local volunteers to rescue the forgotten puppy. Her exuberant reaction and pure joy during the rescue earned her the nickname “Jumping Bob”.
“She was so overwhelmed with joy when she saw us that she was almost choked,” one of the rescuers shared.
