The owner of the apartment faced a difficult task: to transform a standard two-room apartment into a cozy and modern home in just one month, without going beyond a modest budget.
Moreover, the apartment had to become not only a comfortable place to live, but also a welcoming space for relatives who were soon going to move here.
To implement his plans, the owner turned to a designer whose goal was to update the interior without expensive repairs and complex redevelopment.

The result impressed everyone: the apartment was transformed beyond recognition, while retaining its functionality and comfort.
They decided not to carry out a redevelopment, but they distributed the space wisely.
The spacious room became both a bedroom and a living room, and the small one turned into a comfortable office, which could serve as a guest room if necessary.
The main magic was created by cosmetic repairs.

The walls were brought back to life with new wallpaper and fresh paint, the old parquet was re-sanded and varnished, restoring its original shine, and the tiles in the bathroom and kitchen were simply painted.
In the conditions of economy, the designer had to show ingenuity. The old kitchen set was partially dismantled: its elements were used to make a stylish cabinet and a work table.
The cabinet, which looked dated, was simply repainted to give it a modern look.

A practical solution appeared in the bedroom – a bed with a lifting mechanism, allowing you to hide things under it, and in the living room – a compact but cozy sofa.
It was decided not to change the electrical wiring, so the lighting was selected based on the existing connection points.

As a result, the rooms now have laconic modern chandeliers, and additional sconces and LED lighting were installed to create a cozy atmosphere.
In the bathroom, the mirror was supplemented with built-in lighting, which not only decorated the space, but also made it more comfortable.
