The house appears gorgeous, but people hesitate to buy it because of what they see inside.

There can be no disagreements in issues of taste, they say, and we couldn’t agree more, for the truth is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and what is lovely to one person may be terrible to another, and vice versa.

The same is true for one house in the UK that was posted for sale and drew a lot of purchasers, but after they viewed the inside, most of them said “no, thank you,” and passed the property over.

The house has four bedrooms, a master suite, a garage, and a beautifully maintained lawn. The listing said that the facility maintained “high standards,” but it turned out that not everyone understood exactly what these phrases meant.

Believe it or not, the interior of this seemingly perfect-looking home is purple, including the walls, carpeting, and furniture. Everything, to be specific. No matter how much you adore this color, everyone agrees that it is simply too much. So what else is purple? The flooring, ceilings, curtains—you name it.

The purple color extends to the closet doors in the master suite, and while the walls are simple to paint over, fixtures like closet doors can be difficult to change.

The bathroom tiles are white, with purple floral accents on top. The bathtub itself is white, but the bathroom floor and sides are covered with shaggy purple carpeting.

Based on the façade, one would never guess that everything inside this property is purple, and unless the future buyer is also a big fan of this color, selling it won’t be easy.

The residence is listed at $5 million.

What do you think about this? Would you be able to live with so much purple?
