The incident, which was initially discounted by other rangers and law enforcement, has taken an unexpected turn, revealing a joyful and tragic story.
Reports first appeared when Peter noticed the bear in the distance, causing anxiety given recent predator sightings in the area. Peter approached cautiously and was astonished to see the bear bearing a baby.
