Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a spectacular, joy-filled night out at Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter concert in Los Angeles on May 9, but viewers were drawn to more than just their dance moves and tender moments. Harry’s headwear sparked conversation among everyone.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were photographed in the VIP zone of SoFi Stadium, enjoying the event alongside hundreds of Beyoncé fans.
Meghan tweeted a couple sweet photos from the night, including one of Harry kissing her on the cheek and another of them dancing close together, clearly delighted. Fans were particularly drawn to a shot of Harry wearing a custom-made cowboy hat.
It wasn’t just any cowboy hat. Fans discovered special notes chiseled inside, including “My Love,” “Lili,” and “Archie.” It was a sweet, discreet, and heartfelt dedication to Meghan and their two children, demonstrating that even when he’s having fun, he keeps his family in mind.
Meghan accompanied the photo with a fun caption: “My husband’s hat gets a twirl.”
Throughout the night, admirers posted videos of Harry doing a silly dad dance alongside Meghan. And, while his actions weren’t particularly polished, their love was clear. They laughed, danced, and took in the music.
Meghan closed the night with a shoutout to Beyoncé on Instagram: “Thank you, Beyoncé and company, for an incredible concert (and a very enjoyable date night). “All love.”
This is not the first time the royal pair has expressed their affection for Queen B. They also went on her Renaissance World Tour last year, and Beyoncé has openly supported Meghan several times. Following Meghan’s strong interview with Oprah in 2021, Beyoncé sent a heartfelt message: “Thank you, Meghan, for your courage and leadership. “You have strengthened and inspired us all.”
