The driver drove silently , keeping close to the center of the road. An old dog dosed in the passenger seat . 😱😱
And then, when nothing foreshadowed something strange, a car appeared in front . The foreign car was moving slowly . At some point, the car slowed down, the back door opened slightly – and a black garbage bag flew to the side of the road. The car immediately stepped on the gas and disappeared around the corner.
The driver tense. The dog grew, its head raised warily. He slowed down , then stopped. The garbage bag on the side of the road… moved.
His heart was pounding loudly in his chest. He got out of the car and approached the package.

With trembling hands, he took out a knife and carefully cut the package. Under the layer of polyethylene was fabric. And from it appeared a tiny, childish hand. Alive.
He stepped back, stunned. Then he carefully unfolded the cloth. In front of him was a child. A boy. About two years old .His face was dirty, his lips were pale, his eyes were closed .He wrapped him in his jacket, picked him up and carried him to the car. The dog whined softly and began to lick the child’s cheek. The baby groaned and became quiet again .
The driver sat behind the wheel. His fingers were shaking. What now? The police? The hospital? Or… He went to the hospital. Later he saw the news. A child was missing. Two years old. The parents were gone.Maybe they had run away.
A week later,he decided to apply for temporary guardianship. A month later, for permanent guardianship.
