The shepherd dog sat on the girl’s coffin and seemed to be hiding something under itself: people were horrified when they realized why the dog wouldn’t move away from the coffin 😱😱
Late in March, a funeral ceremony for a six-year-old girl was underway at a cemetery. A small coffin filled with wildflowers became the center of grief for hundreds gathered. The girl’s father stood stunned , devastated by grief.
Suddenly, the silence was broken by the sound of paws. A German Shepherd named Dakota broke through the crowd, ignoring the dog handler’s commands . With obvious determination, she jumped right onto the lid of the coffin and froze, as if hiding something underneath . Attempts to drive the dog away were unsuccessful – she grewled and refused to leave, protecting her secret.
The girl’s father noticed that Dakota’s behavior was not a sign of grief, but rather a signal of alarm. Then the dog let out a familiar low whine – this is how she warned that the girl was about to have an attack .
Suspecting that Dakota was feeling something, the girl’s father insisted that the coffin be opened . After much persuasion, the funeral director agreed.
… As the coffin lid slowly began to rise, the crowd held its breath. The bull people were horrified to see what the dog was hiding… Continued in the first comment 👇👇

Inside lay a girl, her face serene , like a sleeping person . But it was immediately clear: she was… breathing .
Someone screamed. The attending physician rushed to the coffin, put his ear to her chest and immediately screamed:
– Alive! She’s alive! Call an ambulance immediately !
The father froze, as if he couldn’t believe his eyes, until he heard a soft groan, weak but real. He fell to his knees, unable to hold back his tears.

His daughter, who had already been mourned by everyone , was alive . The state of lethargic sleep, extremely rare and practically unnoticeable without a deep diagnosis, misled the doctors . The girl was prematurely declared dead.
But how did Dakota know?
The answer was found later. It turned out that the dog was trained to detect the slightest changes in the girl’s breathing and pulse – she really did have attacks during which her vital functions almost died out.
Dakota had saved her more than once, warning her parents before the ambulance arrived . And this time , at the moment when the doctors gave up, it was Dakota who realized that this was not death.

She was the last one to hear her mistress’s breathing ,and the only one who refused to accept it.
