A guy saved a child from a locked car by breaking a window, but instead of gratitude, the child’s mother called the police, and this is what happened next 😱😱
Slavik was returning home after a hard shift. The street was melting under the sun: the heat was unbearable, no less than thirty. People seemed to have evaporated – they hid in their houses, in the subways, under the rare trees. The air was trembling, the asphalt gave off heat to his feet.
He turned onto a familiar path past an old supermarket, and suddenly stopped. Abruptly. Not because he was tired or noticed someone. No. It was as if something had grabbed him from within. Crying. A child’s cry.

He froze. His heart started pounding. He turned around – a parking lot. Almost empty. And in the very shadows, under a withered tree – a car. An expensive foreign car. Dark windows. The sound was coming from there.
He approached slowly. His steps were heavy in his chest. The windows were fogged up. And inside… yes, there was a child. A boy. About a year old, no more. His cheeks were crimson, his eyes were half-closed, his lips were cracked from thirst.
The guy jerked the door. Locked. He walked around it – still the same.
“Someone! HELP!” he shouted. No one came to help.
And then he saw a stone by the curb. His head started buzzing: “You can’t. It’s a crime.” But his gaze fell on the child again. Slavik grabbed the stone and hit the glass.

The scorching heat rushed out. He threw the door open, yanked the belt. He picked up the boy in his arms – he was barely breathing. And ran. The clinic was two blocks away. He couldn’t feel his legs, he ran. The doors hissed open.
– HELP! – he shouted.
The nurse ran up.
“The child… in the car… fever… he…” he barely managed to say all this.
The child was taken away. They told him: he brought the baby on time.
Fifteen minutes later a woman appeared in the department. She ran in, saw Slavik and – instead of gratitude – exploded:
-You BROKE my car?! Are you crazy?! I WROTE the number on the windshield! I just went into the supermarket for a minute!
Slavik didn’t answer. He just remained silent and looked at her, as if he still couldn’t believe it. A minute? In this heat?
“You’ll pay for the repairs! I’m calling the police!” she shouted, already taking out her phone.
When the police arrived, something very unexpected happened….

The police arrived quickly. One officer – short, strong, with precise movements. He listened to Slavik. Everything. From beginning to end. And nodded. Then slowly turned to the woman.
“You left a baby in a car with temperatures above thirty degrees, with the windows closed?” he asked dryly.
– I told you, just for a minute…
“You are facing the loss of your parental rights,” he was interrupted coldly. “As well as criminal liability for ending the life of a child.”
The woman turned pale.
– And you, boy, are great, you reacted quickly, saved the child’s life, it’s just a pity his parents are so ungrateful. I doubt it was an accident. We need heroes like you!
Slavik stood nearby. His hands were still shaking. He didn’t want anything – neither punishment for her, nor praise for himself. He simply did what he had to.
Do you think the guy did the right thing?
