The couple, passionate cat lovers who dream of opening their own shelter, couldn’t walk away. When they saw the frail, trembling kitten with a swollen belly from hunger, they knew they had to act.
The poor little one was completely blind from a severe eye infection, her eyes sealed shut. She cried until Dessy finally scooped her up, gently cradling her and rushing her to the vet. Too exhausted to resist, the kitten quickly fell asleep in her rescuer’s arms, resting until they arrived.
