Richard Hernandez, better known as Tiamat Legion Medusa, has become one of the most recognizable figures in the world of extreme body modification.
He once worked in banking and had a stable career, but inside he always felt like he was living the wrong life. Since his youth, Hernandez dreamed of transforming himself, but for many years he was held back by social norms and the demands of his job.
The turning point came after he turned forty. That’s when he realized he no longer wanted to hide his true identity and decided to dedicate himself to transformation.
“I was in my 40s before I started living my true freak life… At that point, I already had 79 piercings, and most of them were hidden,” admits Meduza.
From that time on, he began a gradual process of becoming a “dragon man.” He got tattoos on his face and body that resembled reptilian scales, forked his tongue to resemble a snake’s, and installed horns on his forehead.
Later, he decided to have his ears removed and the whites of his eyes tattooed. Each new modification brought him closer to the image he dreamed of.
