Lilly Davis, 44, known online as @dear_and_darling, has gone viral for her astonishing Disney Loungefly backpack collection, which now totals over 250 bags and has cost her “several thousand dollars.” Since February 2022, she has amassed themed collections ranging from villains and Pixar characters to princesses, Nightmare Before Christmas, Beauty and the Beast, and more.
Based in Salt Lake Valley, Utah, Davis says her collection grew quickly as her family would buy six to eight Loungeflys per Disneyland visit, often using several during each trip. While her Mickey Mouse bag holds sentimental value, she treasures her Daisy Duck bag the most, as it was the hardest to obtain, and has a soft spot for the three bags gifted to her by Loungefly. She dreams of adding a green Club 33 Loungefly and a line of princes and Lady and the Tramp-themed bags.
Despite the value of her collection, Davis emphasizes that “things can always be replaced,” and that family and friends remain her true treasures. Her love for Disney and Loungefly designs stems from a creative upbringing—her father a set designer and her mother an interior designer—immersing her in high-quality, aesthetically pleasing environments.
In 2024, Davis and her husband Paul built a custom display for half her collection, using embellished IKEA shelves integrated into the wall, with plans to expand. She has used every bag at least once, often to match elaborate Disneybounds—outfits inspired by Disney characters. Her husband participates enthusiastically, enhancing the fun and attention their outfits draw.
Davis says her goal is simple: “Disneybounding is for everyone… I love making other people happy.”
